The T-Motor series of brushless motors are designed by F3P flyers, for F3P flyers! These great little motors feature ball bearing supported main shafts with a built-in cross-style backplate mount, and feature an integrated prop-saver type propeller mounting system. These motors are great for smaller RC aircraft that need a powerful, dependable and light weight power source.
The T1804 motor is designed to run on 2-cell Li-Po power, and in addition to powering F3P type models, it makes an excellent brushless upgrade replacement motor for many of the small ready-to-fly models that come stock with small brushed motors and gearboxes.
The T1804 motor comes with with a set of 2.0mm male bullet connectors already soldered to the motor leads, and includes a matching set of 2.0mm female bullet connectors for your speed controller, along with 3 pieces of heat shrink tubing to cover them. Also included with the motor is a set of four 2.0mm mounting screws and 2 O-Rings to hold your propeller onto the motor.
To allow several different sizes of props to be used, the T1804 motor comes with a 2-step centering ring on the prop saver adapter. The main centering ring is 7.0mm in diameter, and is designed to fit the hole in the center of the GWS Direct-Drive style propellers. The second centering ring is 5.5mm in diameter, and is designed to fit the GWS Slow-Fly style props.
Every T-Motor come packaged as shown below in an attractive wooden box that features a black pebble finish exterior. On the inside of the box, a custom die-cut foam insert is used to protect the motor and accessories during shipping.
The recommended propeller for the T1804 is the GWS 7x3.5DD. With this prop, you will get 220 grams of thrust with a current draw of 5.9 amps at 7.0 volts. On 8.0 volts, you will get 270 grams of thrust with a current draw of 7.0 amps.
