This Next Level 500mm Hex Rotor Combo Kit is the Standard power system featuring Cobra 2213/26 motors that is designed for pilots that simply want to sport fly their Quad-Rotor craft and possibly hang a GoPro camera on it some time in the future. For pilots that want to also use FPV gear or other additional options, you should use select the 500 Hex High Power Combo Kit that is also available on our sit.
This Combo Kit contains all of the parts needed to assemble the 500mm Hex Rotor frame, except for the battery, receiver and Flight Controller Board, which need to be purchased separately.

1-6 to 1 Power Harness
With a 3-cell Li-Po battery pack, at 11.1 volts under load, the Cobra 2213/26 motor turning GemFan 9x4.7 props will produce the following performance numbers at full throttle:
Amps - 9.2
Watts - 102
RPM - 8000
Thrust - 685 grams, 24.1 ounces
Pitch Speed - 35 MPH
Six of these motors together will produce a total of 4110 grams or 144.6 ounces of combined thrust at full throttle.
To maintain good maneuverability and performance, we recommend that the maximum flying weight of this setup should be no more than 60% of the total available thrust. For this power system, that would be 87 ounces maximum take-off weight.
Also included in the Combo Kit is a 6-to-1 Power Harness that allows you to run all 6 speed controllers from one battery. The power harness has a male Deans type power connector on one end, and a set of 6 3.5mm Male and Female bullet connectors at the other end. In addition to the bullet connectors, there is a male JST power connector for providing power to other items such as FPV gear or LED Nav lights.
