For electric models that need the motor moved forward off the firewall, or for glow model conversions to electric power, this mount works great to hold your electric motor. Made from 2.5mm thick (0.100 inch) aluminum sheet stock, the mount is strong enough to handle even the most powerful motors. The side frames have a series of holes that are approximately 1/4" apart, so you can position the mounting plate where ever it is needed to suit your installation. The mounting plate for the motor has slotted holes, so it can be installed in a variety of locations to fit the required distance needed to get the prop in the correct location. The mounting plate also has two sets of mounting holes for the motor, one for 25mm spacing and another for 30mm spacing, and it will hold motors up to 56mm in diameter. The weight of this mount is 92 grams or 3.25 ounces.
