The T-Motor series of brushless motors are designed by F3P flyers, for F3P flyers! These great little motors feature ball bearing supported main shafts with a built-in cross-style backplate mount, and feature an integrated prop-saver type propeller mounting system. These motors are great for smaller RC aircraft that need a powerful, dependable and light weight power source.
The T2402 motor is designed to run on 2-cell Li-Po power, and is made specifically for F3P type models. This is very high torque motor that features a 24 slot stator with 22 magnet poles.
The T2402 motor comes with with a set of 2.0mm male bullet connectors already soldered to the motor leads, and includes a matching set of 2.0mm female bullet connectors for your speed controller, along with 3 pieces of heat shrink tubing to cover them. Also included with the motor is a set of four 2.0mm mounting screws and 2 O-Rings to hold your propeller onto the motor.
To allow several different sizes of props to be used, the T2402 motor comes with a centering ring adapter that fits over the integrated prop saver adapter. The main centering ring on the prop adapter is 7.0mm in diameter, and is designed to fit the hole in the center of the GWS Direct-Drive style propellers. The centering ring adapter is 5.5mm in diameter, and is designed to fit the GWS Slow-Fly style props.
Every T-Motor come packaged as shown below in an attractive wooden box that features a black pebble finish exterior. On the inside of the box, a custom die-cut foam insert is used to protect the motor and accessories during shipping.
The recommended propeller for the T2402 is the GWS 8x4DD. With this prop, you will get 220 grams of thrust with a current draw of 6.7 amps at 7.0 volts. On 8.0 volts, you will get 260 grams of thrust with a current draw of 7.6 amps.
